Brand Offering Free Gig Tickets Throughout September

Converse has launched a new interactive online platform allowing users to win exclusive invites to free gigs and events across Europe. Sneakers Would, which runs throughout September, includes sessions in London from the likes of Glass Animals, Klaxtons, Sohn and Simian Mobile Disco, as well as tickets to the likes of the Berlin Festival. The US brand even plans to provide transport via its Get In & Go bus, the location of which will be revealed on the day of each event. Once downloaded, users of The Ticket platform can also access a mix of films, games, GIFs and images. Bosses are hoping the stunt will promote the autumn 2014 Converse All Star collection, which features distressed washes, premium grade canvas, twill and burnished suede alongside details such as back-zippers, subtle embroidery and graphic prints. A statement from the organisers said the project is inspired by “the rebellious ethos of the Chuck Taylor All Star, entering fans into a virtual world that embodies the sneaker attitude”. Converse has steadily increased the number of lifestyle events it holds in the UK, kicking off earlier in the year with the arrival of its creative Cons Project initiative. The Ticket is available to download online now through the dedicated mini-site.
