Crombie Releases SS14 Lookbook
Dr Who outfitters Crombie has released the lookbook for its spring/summer 2014 collection. In keeping with its rich fashion heritage, the latest designs from the luxury clothing brand feature a range of tailored pieces in classic styles.
Updated for a February 2014 release, the collection takes inspiration from a historic swatch dating back to the 19th century. The finished line showcases rich red pieces blended with classic white, dark blue and grey hues.
Founded in 1805 by Scotsman John Crombie, the firm has carried its classic heritage throughout the ages to become an iconic leader in British fashion. The company promotes the use of quality materials and mills 80 per cent of its popular coat fabrics in the UK.
The latest release includes a nod to the brand’s military history, with masculine tailored coats in premium calf leather. Italian milled cotton, pure cashmere and authentic merino wool are also found throughout; said to give the collection the classic elegance synonymous with the Crombie name.
The range is available to buy in the label’s UK stores, along with selected retailers and online now. Key leather pieces are priced up to £2,500.
