Côte&Ciel Release Two New Travel Bags
French accessory specialists Côte&Ciel have added two travel bags to their current spring/summer 2014 collection.
The new designs include an updated, re-imagined version of the brand’s signature Nile backpack, the ‘Nile Obsidian’, and a second travel bag called the ‘Loire Weekend’.
The Nile Obsidian rucksack is one of the Parisian company’s more futuristic designs. While the style maintains the practical, classic features of the original bag – such as a dedicated laptop compartment – a concealed hood has been added to help shelter its wearer from the elements and offer the ‘ultimate in urban protection’.
Crafted from a water resistant, coated polyester, it is available in natural, earthy colour ways of granite, basalt and feldspath.
The Loire Weekend Travel Bag is a quintessential piece of luggage, and the first of its kind from the company. Inspired by “duffel bags and the robust and no-nonsense medical bags carried by travelling doctors”, it is both stylish and practical, capturing the essence of the company’s ethos.
Made with fabrics inspired by ‘mineral and rock formations’, it features a dedicated laptop compartment and shoulder strap, which ensures weight is distributed evenly for the ultimate comfort of the carrier.
Côte&Ciel, meaning Coast and Sky, have been designing products since 2008. As well as rucksacks and luggage, the brand also produce smartphone, laptop and tablet cases.
The Nile Obsidian backpack (€249) and Loire Weekend Bag (from €219) are available to purchase now via the brand’s website and in selected stores.
