Brands Help Celebrate Retailer’s 10th Anniversary

Dover Street Market has teamed up with the likes of Vans, New Era, Eastpak, Fred Perry and Sunspel to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Comme des Garçons’ multi-brand store has utilised its black and white house logo, blending it with a chequered print and applying it across several limited edition pieces to form the ‘Checkerboard Series’.

Vans has worked the logo into its popular chequered slip-on shoe, while British brand Sunspel has lined the hood of its zip-up styles with the motif. Fred Perry and New Era have adopted a similar approach, lining their signature Harrington jacket and fitted cap, respectively, with the monochrome print.

Meanwhile, Eastpak has opted for a contrasting front pocket on one of its classic backpack designs.

The Checkerboard Series is part of a selection of events and collaborations taking place to mark the London store’s decade in business. Temporary market stalls and souvenir products are also said to be popping up as part of the ‘DSM – The Next 10 Years’ campaign.

The Checkerboard Series is available at Dover Street Market’s online store and London store now, with prices starting at £35 for the New Era Checkerboard Cap and going up to £235 for the Fred Perry Harrington.
