Tailoring Brand Targets Party Season
Dutch menswear chain Suitsupply has unveiled its AW14 collection of men’s eveningwear and accessories in time for end of year celebrations. The retailer has focused on classic styles such as a silk button, peak lapel black tuxedo, as well as more fashion-led options including a blue and green check tuxedo. Single- and double-breasted models appear throughout the range, with other variants and details such as shawl collar lapels, silk-trimmed jetted pockets and silk-trimmed trousers. Accessories comprise silk bow ties, white braces and cuff links while footwear includes patent leather lace-ups and tassel loafers. Suitsupply currently operates three London stores, Lime Street, Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and the recently revamped flagship on Vigo Street. CEO and founder Fokke de Jong confirmed the business plans to open a further two stores, which will bring the UK total to five, in addition to more than 50 units across Europe, the United States and Asia. The Suitsupply AW14 Eveningwear Collection is available to buy now from the brand’s Vigo Street store and online. Price points range from £259 for a jacket to £349 for a tuxedo.
