UK Menswear Brand Reveals ‘Not For You’ Collection
Comic imagery, feature logos and sportswear styles make up the latest collection from menswear brand Grind London.
Titled ‘Not For You’, the AW14 range consists of shirts, trousers, jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and head wear in a number of colors, textures and designs used to form casual layered looks.
Button-down shirts in graphic prints feature alongside illustrated t-shirts, paired with a mix of plain, checked and herringbone print trousers.
While the majority of the 24-piece line is based around a palette of blue, white and grey, sport and streetwear pieces such as sweatshirts are printed with the brand’s logo in contrasting monochrome shades.
Modeled by DJ and producer Skinny, AKA Blackfoot Phoenix, the collection is finished with a bucket hat style in a stripe printed cotton fabric.
Founded in 2008, Grind London operates through seasonal capsule releases in limited number, which each focuses on a specific theme.
As well as being inspired by “nostalgia, UK cynicism, and an often US brashness”, the label’s collections also look to “London’s various subcultures, past and present” for reference points.
Grind London’s AW14 collection is available online now. Prices start at £30 for t-shirts, £65 for sweatshirts, £90 for shirts and £120 for jackets.
