Hunter Offers First Look At New Products

Outdoor heritage label Hunter has released a new festival-inspired campaign film for summer. The clip shows off pieces from the current SS14 Original collection, as well giving a first look at new items from the brand’s upcoming AW14 range.

It features scenarios associated with British music festivals, with models pitching a tent in the rain and getting caught in a muddy field.

Though the brand is best known for its Wellington boots, the two minute video confirms work on a poncho for AW14.

Alasdhair Willis, Hunter’s creative director since 2013, worked on the film alongside fashion photographer Jamie Morgan.

Morgan has previously shot for i-D, Dazed and Confused and former editor-in-chief of French Vogue Carine Roitfeld’s CR magazine.

Willis said Morgan was “a perfect choice” to collaborate with on this campaign.

“His ability to capture youth culture, energy and spirit made him the ideal fit for this project,” he added.

To coincide with the new clip Hunter is running the #BeAHeadliner competition using new social media app, Tunepics.

The brand is asking entrants to upload an image using the hashtag, accompanied by a track from their favourite headliner.

A winner will be chosen at random to receive a £350 Hunter gift card after the competition closes on 1st July.

This year is significant for the brand as it is due to open its new London Flagship on Regent Street in the autumn.

Hunter Original boots are priced from £70 and are available online and via retailers including Harrods, Office and Russell and Bromley.
