Repositioned Lifestyle Brand Gets First Outing
Former Wellington boot now lifestyle brand Hunter Original has followed up the reveal of its first ready-to-wear collection with an AW14 campaign video.
The short film showcases the brand’s footwear, outwear and accessories offerings for the season, including the newly introduced scuba backpacks and rubber Chelsea boots.
Visual artist Mat Maitland was brought in for the campaign, tasked with reflecting the palette of colours used while drawing inspiration from the label’s countryside heritage.
Under the creative direction of Alasdhair Willis, husband to British fashion designer Stella McCartney, the Hunter Original label expands on Hunter’s mainline of waterproof footwear, with its menswear spanning knitwear, outerwear, footwear and accessories.
The AW14 collection marks the first ever release for the repositioned label, which was revealed at London Fashion Week in February. During the show models walked a water covered catwalk to recreate splashing puddles, while trees lined the sides to create the feel of a forest.
The Hunter Original AW14 collection is available now via Hunter’s webstore, with a flagship store set to open on London’s Regent Street before the end of the year. Prices start from £16 for accessories, £80 for boots, £95 for knitwear and £260 for jackets.
