Authentic Aussie export Icon Brand has chosen to reveal its latest collection exclusively on FashionBeans.
The new ‘Chapter One’ line – due to arrive at ASOS, Topman, Urban Outfitters and Hypebeast throughout the month – pairs music and youth with found objects from around the world and seasonal trends. The result includes crafted jewellery, wallets, head wear and other quality urban goods.
Established in 2008, the accessories label focuses on understated quality and meticulous attention to detail.
The line will sit alongside an ever-expanding home range, currently made up of anatomical skull coffee mugs, shot glasses and plate sets.
In an exclusive look, Icon Brand allowed FashionBeans to comb through the selection of pendant necklaces, leather and rope bracelets, statement rings and print wares including snapbacks, iPad and Macbook cases.
The SS14 collection succeeds at combining the three main design ingredients with a melting pot of themes stretching from insolent American street swag to sun-drenched plains of Africa; all reworked with a modern wearer in mind.
Icon Brand’s staunch use of pattern suggests the adoption of several micro-trends. Nautical anchors, camouflage and paisley all make an appearance.
Major stockists will welcome the offerings throughout February and March. The brand’s standalone website, IconBrand.com, will also stock the full line, with shipping free to the UK. Price points for the collection range from £7 to £30.
