Watchmaker Teams With Street Artist
Jewellery departments in London are readying to take stock of an unlikely collaboration between Swiss watchmaker JeanRichard and Parisian street artist Gully. The pair has come together to produce three limited edition takes on one of the luxury brand’s timepieces. The new Terrascope designs will make up the Graphiscope collection and be signed by the artist. In addition to the watches, JeanRichard will also host and exhibition in partnership with Gully on the theme of Philosophy of Art from 19th September. Housed at the Opera Gallery in Paris, France it will feature Gully’s latest paintings as well as a special exhibition of the collaboration which is where the designs will be revealed. The managing director of JeanRichard, Bruno Grande, likened the artist to Daniel JeanRichard, calling him a “pioneer and artist of his time”. “Gully is also a very inventive and curious adventurer within his field of expertise and the story behind the Graphiscope collection is the result of exactly such inspiration,” he added. JeanRichard operates under the Kering Group. Formerly PPR, the luxury company also owns the likes of Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga,
