Outerwear Brand Brings Back Luggage Range
Ma.Strum has released a new range of bags in a bid to extend its apparel offering. The technical firm wishes to build on its existing T-shirts, trousers, jackets and knitwear, which take inspiration from the archive of Italian designer and Stone Island founder, Massimo Osti.
The waterproof luggage is made from a heavy duty nylon-poly fabric outer and leather interior, following the same military-inspired design route as the clothing.
The Traveller’s Duffel, Military Post Bag and Journeyman model comes in a range of five colours, including red, yellow and khaki. Each features a laptop pocket, as well as smaller compartments for phones and wallets.
Luggage has been previously released by the brand, founded by former Victorinox designer, Donrad Duncan. However, bosses say the new line is not part of a seasonal release.
A spokesperson told FashionBeans:
“Moving forward we wish to further broaden our offering. The trio of styles currently available represent the first steps on what we hope to be a fruitful journey alongside the continued development of Ma.Strum apparel.”
The bags are available exclusively at mastrum.com and via the brand’s London store. Prices range from £249 for the Military Post Bag, going up to £299 for the Traveller’s Duffle and £349 for the Journeyman’s Bag.
