A Festive Wishlist

In the run up to Christmas finding that elusive ‘perfect gift’ can sometimes seem like an arduous task, rather than the joyous celebration it’s supposed to be. And, if we’re being honest, all of that shopping for others simply leads us to want a whole host of new bits and pieces for ourselves. With that in mind, we decided to ask a few friends to come up with their personal wishlist this season as a bit of gift inspiration – either for someone else, or as a little (or big) something from you to you. Alongside the more accessible choices, we’ve also asked them to throw in a couple of slightly more aspirational items to really get you thinking. The first in our festive gift list series to share exactly what they want from Santa this year is Marcus Jaye, founder of TheChicGeek and regular FashionBeans columnist. His inimitable take on style has led to a seriously eclectic festive selection – we’d expect nothing less – and this one has definitely given us a few ideas…
