MR PORTER x Grenson
Heritage footwear firm Grenson has collaborated with six London menswear designers to create a capsule footwear collection exclusively for MR PORTER. The London Collections: MEN range incorporates the signature styles of Katie Eary, Craig Green, Christopher Raeburn, Matthew Miller, Agi & Sam and Sibling. The boots, brogues and loafers on offer have been designed with the idea of being transitional staples, unconfined to season. BFA Emerging Talent Award winners Agi & Sam bring a double monk-strap to the collection in three different types of textured black leather. Matthew Miller’s crocodile-embossed Derby comes equipped with a contrasting wooden sole. Rising talent Craig Green adds to the black-rich line-up with his wingtip brogue, featuring a chunky sole and elastic fabric strap fastening around the midfoot. In keeping with the brand’s trademark use of colour, Sibling contributes sky blue nubuck penny loafers, finished with a black trim around the collar. Katie Eary delivers a double monk-strap with gold buckles and a vibrant blue suede upper. To finish the project, Christopher Raeburn’s canvas and leather boot maintains his label’s signature military aesthetic. The chunky sole and textured leather accents draw inspiration from the original British Commando boot.
