Photography Forms New Resortwear Collection

Premium lifestyle brand Orlebar Brown is holding on to hot weather through a new partnership with Condé Nast Traveller.

The limited edition collection features t-shirts and shorts covered with landscape photography sourced from the UK magazine’s image archives

The line, which uses beach, sunset and palm tree prints, aims to celebrate “sunshine, adventure, happiness and good times”.

Imagery of Botswana, Sudan and the Polynesian Islands, shot by the likes of Alistair Taylor-Young, Jürgen Frank and David Crookes, has been used on key Orlebar Brown pieces, including the crew neck Tommy t-shirt and Bulldog shorts for men.

Speaking about the project, Melinda Stevens, editor of Condé Nast Traveller, said: “I’ve always loved Orlebar Brown even before we started working with them. Their outlook has always been chic and sassy.”

“And now we get to have a world-class Condé Nast Traveller photograph swathed across our bums. Happiness,” she added.

It comes after the tailored swimwear brand worked with Greek illustrator Konstantin Kakanias on a revamp of its Tommy and Bulldog styles, revealing a six piece collection at London Collections: Men for AW14.

The Orlebar Brown x Condé Nast Traveller collection is available now in Orlebar Brown stores and online. Prices start from £95 for t-shirts and £225 for shorts.
