Parka London Releases SS14 Range
Outerwear brand Parka London has focused on versatility for its spring/summer 2014 range, its second to go on sale. The collection features a wide selection of styles in a variety of colours, continuing the brand’s approach of combining the classic jacket silhouette with modern detailing. Parka’s aim is to produce coats that appeal to those who appreciate timeless design, but are also conscious of the latest trends. SS14 from the British label features hand-picked fabrics, including technical performance nylons and double weave cottons. These materials have been combined with detachable fur hoods, hidden drawstrings and horn effect buttons, all of which are quickly becoming staples of Parka’s designs. A diverse selection of jackets is being rolled out, including the Julian, a cotton nylon parka with a fishtail back hem. Also available is the Tristan, which takes notes from the traditional fisherman jacket, and the Ari, which builds on the Taylor style from the brand’s AW13 line. The coats are available in vibrant green and yellow, as well as in more muted shades such as navy and charcoal grey. Prices for Parka London’s SS14 collection begin at £175, running up to £395.
