Debenhams Confirms Savile Row Tailor Will Design Third Season

Patrick Grant has designed a new collection for Hammond & Co, Debenhams has confirmed. Autumn/winter 2014 is the Savile Row and E Tautz tailor’s third season with the department store brand. The collaboration marks the second A/W collection the Norton & Sons creative director has produced for the high street name. Hammond & Co plays to Grant’s strengths as a designer, focusing on suits. The latest range features three-piece models, double breasted items and windowpane checks. Pops of colour can also be found through knitted beanies with stitched on leather labels and fowl jumpers. The Sports Hall edit, composed of Henley tops, joggers and knitted bomber jackets, is a new component of the range. This sits alongside other more formal pieces including a black lapelled midnight blue tuxedo and velvets slippers. Last month, FashionBeans resident writer, Matt Allison, included the label in a list of the best value for money menswear brands. The line will be sold in the retail chain’s stores nationwide when it launches during the first week of September. Prices will start at ÂŁ14 and go up to ÂŁ299. In the meantime, Grant will debut his most recent collection for E. Tautz on June 17th during London Collections: Men SS15.
