British Brand Adds Jersey Basics To SS14 Collection
London-based brand Percival has added a range of jersey basics to their spring/summer 2014 collection.
Aiming to rework menswear staples for the contemporary gent, each garment comes in a loose, relaxed fit, offering “a modern take” on jersey basics.
‘The Jersey Collection’ adds to the label’s SS14 mainline offering, which was heavily influenced by Americana and “nostalgic 1950s postcards”, according to Percival designer Chris Gove.
The new range features many classic styles, such as a navy and ecru Breton t-shirt and charcoal raglan sweater, all in sizes extra small to extra large.
Other key pieces include striped and cut-and-sew tees, all made from 100 per cent cotton, with prices starting at £32.
Campaign shots for the additional collection were taken in Greenwich, south east London, against the historical backdrops of the National Maritime Museum and royal Palace of Placentia.
Since its launch in 2010, Percival has become known for its lasting contemporary menswear, with a strong commitment to local production.
As a result, the majority of their garments are still produced within the UK, with anything made abroad remaining within the European Union.
The Jersey Collection is available now at the Percival flagship store, 43 Berwick Street, London, and online at percivalclo.com.
