Travelling light has taken on new meaning with the latest collection from high quality leather specialist Prógono. The Spanish brand has introduced a stripped back collection of luggage and tech accessories inspired by the Brazilian city of São Paulo. Founded in 2013, Prógono’s products are designed to be durable, efficient and stylish; all handmade in the capital of Barcelona. Motivated by the urban Brazilian city and the Brutalism architectural movement the location is built around, São Paulo offers an assortment of carefully detailed shoulder bags, backpacks, wallets and wash bags. Each product has been named after buildings in the metropolis. Comprising of clean seam finishes and a sandy colour palette of tan and mocha, the line uses materials such as cotton, leather and canvas. Architects Oswaldo Arthur Bratke, Lina Bo Bardi, John Lautner and Tadao Ando all had a hand in leading the designs. Brand creators Diego Hebling and Anna Sanz translated their understanding of the works to produce a modern collection. “We try to explore new ways to interpret what we think that is the contemporary travel accessories and we are working hard to keep this feeling in our next collection,” said Sanz.
