1990s Running Trainers Rereleased
Puma is set to release another trainer pack as part of its ongoing revamp of the brand’s archive. The 93 OG range contains two popular running styles from the 1990s, the Trinomic Blaze Of Glory and Disc Blaze. Both models are being brought back in white and black colour ways, with pops of Hawaiian ocean blue and blazing orange on the lining, TPU and out-sole. The contrasting approach follows on from the Reverse Pack, which reintroduced the XS850 and R698 trainers. Mesh, leather and synthetic elements have been carried over from the originals for a mixed-material approach. The Trinomic Disc Blaze 93 uses the same clickable closure system, which tightens uppers via an internal wire system in place of laces, seen earlier in the year with the Fluro Mesh Evolution Pack. Puma recently showed off a number of updates with the launch of the brand’s AW14 lookbook. In recent months the brand has largely focused on the re-introduction of older styles but also partnered with four menswear brands to produce a new line of football boots. Both the Trinomic Blaze Of Glory (£90) and Disc Blaze (£110) trainers will be available to buy in store and online from Hanon, End and Size? from 5th July.
