Trio Of Styles Updated For AW14
Three of Reebok’s best-known silhouettes have been given a facelift as part of the sports brand’s AW14 collection. The outfitter’s Classic Leather, Workout Plus and NPC II styles make up the new Reflective Pack, which features a single black colour way, offset by teal accents and a reflective coated Reebok Starcrest print. Reebok’s Classic Leather, widely considered a sportswear staple, uses a low-cut design, suede upper, EVA foam midsole and high abrasion rubber outsole. Despite its name, the trainers are constructed from strips of animal-friendly, vegan tan leather. Similarly, the NPC II boasts a soft, leather upper, textile lining and synthetic outsole specially constructed to enhance durability. Originally released in 1989, the Newport Classic was designed for tennis use. While it has since shifted into urban fashion, the NPC II still carries the flat sole players once used in order to maintain grip on the court. Finally the Workout Plus, initially released in 1986 as a fitness model has been re-worked with supple leather overlays, high-cushion mesh and a studded lacing system.
