Adidas-Owned Brand Debuts Five Mini-Lines
American footwear label Rockport has given FashionBeans an exclusive first look at its AW14 collection. The new images, taken by award-winning photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce, show models around different parts of London, such as Brick Lane. The AW14 lookbook is made up of five separate ranges: Jet Streak, Peakview, Union ST Too, Break Trail Too and Eastern Empire. Each line from the adidas-owned brand fuses casual styles with sports performance, with every pair featuring built-in Adiprene and Adiprene+ technology. Adiprene absorbs shock in the heel, while Adiprene+ provides energy rebound to the front of the foot. Available designs include the Eastern Empire High Moccasin Boot, priced at £160. The ankle high style comes in dark brown leather with stitching detail on the toe and contrasting camel sole. More casual options include the Jet Streak Blucher, priced at £65. The minimal low shoe comes in black leather with matching laces. Rockport was founded in New England in 1971 by father and son, Saul and Bruce Katz. In 2006 the brand joined the adidas group allowing it to implement more sports technology into its casual shoes. Footwear for AW14 is priced from £65 and will start to drop at retailers including Cloggs.co.uk, FootAsylum and Sole from 18th August. A full list of UK stockists is available from the brand’s website.
