Up And Coming Brands Collaborate
Fresh off the back of their collaboration with up and coming streetwear brand HYPE., pure play men’s e-tailer The Idle Man has teamed up with Made In Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock’s acclaimed brand, Serge DeNimes, to produce two limited edition t-shirts. Celebrating the launch of the label on TheIdleMan.com, they sit alongside key pieces from the current Serge DeNimes autumn/winter collection. Today FashionBeans explores the partnership…
Serge DeNimes x The Idle Man T-Shirts
The Serge DeNimes x The Idle Man capsule t-shirt collection features an aesthetic that mirrors both brands. Crafted in 100 per cent premium cotton, two distinct designs are available. The first sees a solid black tee given a contemporary twist with the addition of a contrast white printed block-panel running across the bottom. Tying in superbly with the industry’s current focus on sports luxe and monochrome looks, it would slot seamlessly into any modern casual wardrobe. The second takes a white t-shirt and again adds a contrast bottom panel, this time in Serge’s AW14 camouflage print. Referencing the big military influences of the season, it’s an eye-catching piece that would make an effortless statement combined with your favourite jeans:
Both t-shirts have the phrase ‘So Idle’ applied to the chest (a play on DeNimes’ signature ‘So Serge’ slogan) and come in a longline, slim-fit – perfect for channelling AW14’s big anti-fit trend. Only twenty-five of each t-shirt have been produced in total, making them strictly limited edition and ensuring your individuality. If you want to get your hands on one, you’re going to need to be quick:

Serge DeNimes Autumn/Winter 2014
As part of this exclusive collaboration, The Idle Man has taken stock of a number of key items from the current Serge DeNimes autumn/winter 2014 mainline collection. Its most design-led range to date, it sees the continuation of Serge’s signature colour palette of grey, black and white but also introduces a camouflage print used as accents in panels or on sleeves. Speaking to FashionBeans, Olivier Proudlock said the brand has gone from “strength to strength” in the past three years. “This collection is a reflection of all the hard work that I and my team have put in to making this our strongest collection to date.” “We have come a long way from starting as a t-shirt brand, and now our product range is not only larger but having moved to a new factory the quality and attention to detail is better than ever,” he added.
