Son Of Wild SS14 Menswear Collection
The founders of menswear brand Son of Wild have said they hope to show “good progression” in both style and product offering with the SS14 collection.
Tim Chapman and Jake Phillips have followed up their debut AW13 line with a preview of the new season.
Warm weather staples and light outerwear feature heavily in the recently released lookbook. Inspiration for the new print-heavy collection ranges from 1990s surf culture to 19th century impressionist paintings and Japanese ceramics. The themes have been put to work on shorts, shirts and other outdoor pieces.
Son of Wild’s first move into the menswear industry caught the attention of online fashion retailer ASOS, style and trend publications such as Hypebeast and High Snobiety.
Looking forward, founders Chapman and Phillips told Style Stands Alone that they expect a stronger response again for AW14.
The pair said the label is aimed at “those who appreciate good design and clean considered product.”
“We position ourselves at an accessible level… but also maintain a high-end aesthetic and quality of product.”
Prices for the Son of Wild SS14 preview collection start at £30 for T-shirts and £115 for bomber jackets. The range is available now via the company’s website as well as on ASOS.com.
