SUPER Releases SS14 MOTORPSYCHO Collection
An Italian sunglasses brand favoured by Kanye West has released its spring/summer 2014 collection. SUPER, which has been producing contemporary eyewear since 2007, is rolling out the MOTORPSYCHO line, inspired by the thriving and vibrant culture of the 1970s. What started out as a classic silhouette has since evolved into a whole range of styles with a modern twist. Completely handmade in Italy, the brand offers stand-out accessories at an affordable price. In an attempt to highlight the rebellion of the decade, the range also includes references to biker gangs. The label, which has worked with some of the world’s best manufacturers, has seen its designs worn by a host of celebrities, including Snoop Dogg and Daft Punk. Sunglasses by SUPER are currently stocked in twenty countries worldwide, with each pair providing high quality protection, thanks to a partnership with German lens company Zeiss. The SS14 range incorporates a selection of sunglasses and optical models. Tortoiseshell and snakeskin patterns give the collection an edgy twist, while updates of timeless styles such as the traditional aviator and old school horn rimmed frames deliver a touch of eccentricity.
