Summer Inspiration Used For Winter Range
The design team at Surf Liquor is turning seasons on their head by creating an AW14 collection with summer in mind.
A new campaign released by young street skate label, which launched this year, shows the laid-back Californian looks used in the warmer months carried over on t-shirts and sweatshirts.
A spokesperson told FashionBeans the line “draws inspiration from the travels of the original road trip up the west coast”.
The result includes bomber jackets with contrast print linings, bold logos and dyed twill over shirts.
Washed indigos and pacific blues feature heavily alongside earth tones in the colour palette.
The same spokesperson said the collection is “made for those that believe it’s always summer somewhere in the world”.
Earlier in the year the brand teamed up with the Old Truman Brewery to create a pop-up shop and skate space in east London. It also partnered with Brixton-based woodworker Satta Skates to produce a limited edition skateboard.
The AW14 collection From Surf Liquor will launch in August. Prices are expected to fall between £30 for t-shirts and £70 for jackets.
The label’s online store will carry the full line, alongside French lifestyle store By Walski, in Shoreditch.
