Ted Baker Footwear SS14
Ted Baker has released its latest classic and stylish footwear collection for spring/summer 2014, along with a high-end capsule line. Traditional men’s silhouettes have been given a modern rework with added pops of colour for a contemporary and youthful feel.
Mainline Collection Highlights
SS13 saw the brand collaborate with blogger Prince Cassius to produce two limited edition brogues. Due to the popularity of both styles, the label has chosen to re-release them in new colour ways for 2014. Available in four colour options, including timeless brown/black leather and an on trend cream two-tone, the ‘CASSIUS’ (£135) features contrasting textured panels and a cobalt blue lining:
The ‘JAMFRO3’ (£100) is a more contemporary take on the traditional brogue silhouette, constructed from soft suedes and available in a range of pastel colour ways:
The ‘SMYYTHE’ (£80) is seasonally-appropriate, soft suede loafer which features front strap detailing and a blue rubber sole. Available in four colour ways, including a sharp pink with contrasting blue trim option:
The Sole of Verona
In addition to the brand’s mainline, Ted baker has released a limited edition capsule collection, entitled ‘The Sole of Verona’. The line has been hand-crafted in Italy from soft calf leather, with each style priced at £185. Silhouettes include the ‘AMOROSI’ Derby brogue and ‘MAZZANO’ double monk-strap shoe. Both styles features hand-finished leather uppers, with a full leather lining and leather sock. The sole combines leather with purple rubber stud detail, providing added comfort and durability. Presented in a slick black shoebox with gold foiling for an added touch of luxury, the AMOROSI brogue comes in a timeless black colour way while the MAZZANO monk is available in both black or deep burgundy:
