British Brand Launches Dance-Inspired Campaign

Fred Astaire and John Travolta are just some of the names used as inspiration for Ted Baker’s AW14 footwear campaign, which FashionBeans can exclusively reveal.

The Take The Lead images reference several iconic dance moves taken from films including Singing in the Rain and Saturday Night Fever, alongside Michael Jackson’s signature moonwalk.

Smart and casual styles make up the collection, which features polished and high gloss leathers such as on the Archeey lace-ups (£140).

Brogues and loafers as well as desert and Chelsea boots comprise the smarter side of the new season. The Guri brogues (£135) come in a two-tone effect brown leather with purple sole and lace detail.

The top priced shoe is the Camroon Chelsea boot (£145). The black leather design has a wooden sole with purple rubber wedge detail.

Sportier styles include the Kilma hi-tops (£100), which come in navy with brown suede back. Low-top styles include the Theeyo white trainer with grey lace detail. Prices for the remaining models start at £55.

Select shoes from the AW14 collection are available now at Ted Baker stores and online. Further drops have been confirmed for the coming months with the final batch expected in November.
