The Quiet Life ‘Grizzly Cliff’ Collection
Skate culture is at the centre of a new collection by streetwear specialists The Quiet Life. The LA-based brand recently revealed details of the head wear line, entitled Grizzly Cliff, which includes three hats: a bucket, one five-panel with a suede peak and another five-panel in all-over print.
All the hats in the collection are made of deadstock fabric, carefully salvaged from the brand’s archive. Prints featured include unusual wildlife graphics, underlining the label’s love of nature’s own designs.
An accompanying lookbook calls on photographers Laura Austin and Jared Eberhardt to embrace the outdoors, taking cameras into the heart of the Californian wilderness.
Shot in Yosemite Park, the editorial places the caps on the heads of two suitably wild-looking models as they play amongst the woodland and mountain terrain. The three styles are paired with heavy, functional jackets, vests and t-shirts to highlight the rugged, camp site aesthetic of the range.
