Thomas Royall Swimwear Launches
New British men’s swimwear brand Thomas Royall has launched with a 13-piece collection.
The trend-led firm’s first introduction to the market contains a number of mid-length fitted shorts, made from fast-drying fabrics.
Developed using performance-rich and swim-friendly materials, designs focus on digital prints such as monochrome florals, a dot-matrix burn-out and white-on-blue polka dot. Plain styles are also available, produced in block-shades of indigo blue, powder pink, navy blue and canary yellow.
Every model carries a signature azure blue waistband and back-pocket flap. Despite the use of a thick waist-cord with ingot metal toggles, the brand believes a form-fitting internal lining allows each piece to maintain a tailored look.
The label began posting images of sketches and samples to its twitter page back in January. In a rare move, the founders have taken the decision to stay anonymous, stating the focus should remain on the swimwear.
Thomas Royall shorts are currently only available online. However, the brand has told FashionBeans it is currently in talks with an as yet undisclosed high-end department store, which could see the new line brought to the high street in the coming months.
A single price of £95 has been used across the whole SS14 line.
