Collection Inspired By Military Details

Triwa has unveiled its autumn/winter 2014 watch range, inspired by traditional military uniform colours and detailing. The collection features a selection of Triwa’s signature timepieces in rich autumnal hues – a departure from the vibrant tones seen in their spring/summer 2014 offering. A palette of navy blue and black paired with grey and army green nods to classic military attire, finished with accents of copper and gold. According to the brand, the colour scheme was inspired by “this season’s military trend”, as well as the “Swedish countryside in autumn”. Two new styles have been introduced for AW14: the Hvalen diving watch and the Skala, Triwa’s smallest timepiece to date at 36mm in diameter. The range also includes a small collaboration with Copenhagen-based brand Rasmus Storm, who worked alongside Swedish label Triwa to produce four colour-blocked styles as part of the ‘Sort of Black’ capsule collection. Focusing on the future of design, Triwa, which stands for ‘Transforming the Industry of Watches’, states that “creativity and fun has overtaken tradition and heritage” in its creation process. The Triwa autumn/winter 2014 collection is available now online, with prices ranging from £99 to £295.
