Male Grooming Gets Push From Tool Makers
Beauty tool manufacturer Tweezerman has today unveiled a new range especially for men. The brand’s Gear line, which hopes to maximise on the rapidly expanding grooming industry, is made up of ten pieces including items for hands, feet, nails and facial hair. Two tweezers – one general and another for ingrown hairs – are carried alongside a shaving brush, facial hair scissors and moustache scissors with comb. Hands and feet are attended to by a multi-use nail tool, precision grip fingernail and toenail clippers, and mini hangnail squeeze and snip nipper. A complete kit is also on sale, containing a set of tweezerettes, nail clippers, facial hair scissors and a multi-use nail tool in a storage case. Prices range between £12.95 for the finger nail clippers up to £36.00 for the shaving brush, made from 100 per cent badger hair. Most tools in the collection are crafted from stainless steel for durability. The international firm, which donates a portion of its profits to charity, has also created a series of videos to go alongside the launch. Three ‘Gear Legends’ appear in the clips, acting as online advocates and showing comedy situations in which the products are used.
