SS15 Collection Focuses On Clean-Lined Streetwear
U Clothing’s new spring/summer 2015 lookbook features utility streetwear presented with clean lines and lightweight layering. The brand, which specialises in luxe, street-inspired clothing, said highlights of the collection include functional outerwear in ultra light cotton poplin and faded gabardine, along with engineered sleeve detailing on parkas, bombers, anoraks, Harrington and field jackets. Meanwhile, signature hardware adds a modern military aspect. The lookbook goes on to showcase sweatshirts in navy and grey loop back terry cotton, while block-panel prints have been applied to shorts and joggers, as well as contoured sleeves of sweaters and hoodies. The company has reworked classic denim jackets in white denim and navy pinstripe summer wool with a hidden gold patch pocket. Trousers and oversized shorts in cotton twill and summer wool continue the utility theme, coming complete with cinch-back closures or practical cargo pockets. The line is rounded out by lightweight jerseys featuring utility panel prints across t-shirts and baseball tops’ sleeves. U Clothing’s SS15 line will be available to buy early 2015 from uclothing.com.
