Uniqlo Unveil Odell as Face of Spring 2014
Tom Odell is enjoying yet more success as the British singer-songwriter is signed up to front Uniqlo’s spring 2014 menswear campaign. The Another Love star features alongside Twilight actress Dakota Fanning who heads up womenswear for the Japanese casual wear firm.
Since winning the Critics’ Choice Brit Award in 2013, Odell has sat at the top the album charts in both the UK and Europe, and scored a further two nominations for this year’s ceremony.
On the appointment of Odell and Fanning, CEO of Uniqlo USA Larry Meyer said the brand is “proud to partner with these young and talented artists.”
“We are very happy Dakota and Tom will showcase our newest lines all across the world,” he added.
The focus for the spring line is on premium natural fabrics, including linen and Supima® cotton. Also featuring is Uniqlo’s core basics, such as AIRism innerwear, polo shirts and denim.
A single campaign shot released shows Odell wearing a two button blazer, teamed with a blue check long sleeve shirt and white slim fit jeans.
