Voi Jeans Spring/Summer 2014
Shot in the Spanish holiday resort of Benidorm, the spring/summer 2014 lookbook by Voi Jeans creates a lifestyle image of the brand’s imagined consumer. Under the orders of recently hired Art Director Josh Taylor, the new collection looks to emphasise the idea of a Voi character, making the clothes one of many crucial aspects of the wearer’s lifestyle. Taylor himself is an experienced creative leader in both magazine and fashion design. The lookbook reveals a relaxed, carefree tone, geared towards a young male market. Now in its 26th year of business, the Voi logo has become a well-known motif within the streetwear industry. The ‘V’ squiggle is most commonly seen on the rear pockets of the firm’s jeans. Founded by a family of denim specialists, jeans have always been a key feature of Voi’s collections. Looks within the latest editorial are holiday themed, with many tropical and animal prints appearing. The denim selection is kept informal, often styled with the hem rolled up. This SS14 release will be available in stockists from mid February, priced from £15 for t-shirts, going up to £70 for jackets. The line will also be available online at VoiJeans.com and ASOS, or at high street stores BANK and USC.
