Clothing And Grooming Meets With New Collaboration
Weekend Offender company director Sam Jones hopes the brand’s latest collaboration will provide an “urban survival kit” for young men.
The streetwear firm has teamed up with brush maker Kent Comb to create a line of outerwear with a unique internal pocket.
The four-piece range includes a dove-lined parka, nylon terrace jacket and two hooded nylon jackets in navy, blue, red and stone colour ways.
Each features an internal Kent comb slot, designed to carry a specially crafted version of the English brand’s folding tortoise shell model.
All four coats feature button, zipped or popper front fastenings with dual inner branding.
Details of the project first circulated online earlier in the year. In an interview with Bodega, Jones said: “We always incorporate little details into our garments such as the toothbrush and toothpaste package. Everyone’s found themselves staying out all night at some point…”
One of the oldest established companies in Britain, Kent currently produces more than 250 styles of brush for the likes of John Lewis, Selfridges and Harrods.
The Weekend Offender x Kent Comb collaborative jackets for AW14 are expected to roll out online and in the firm’s D’Arblay Street store in the coming months.
Prices will start from £140 for the nylon terrace jacket, going up to £175 for the dove-lined parka.
