Swedish Label’s First Eyewear Collection
Scandinavian brand Acne has introduced a brand new product range for spring/summer 2015, releasing its first ever eyewear collection.
Focused on colour and shape, the seven-piece line offers a mix of sunglass styles for the current season, including designs debuted at its autumn/winter 2015 runway shows.
While the styles are designed to be unisex, key options for men include the thick-rimmed ‘Library’ frame and the more delicate gold metal ‘Spitfire’, which mirrors the iconic Aviator silhouette.
Meanwhile, Acne explains that “lens treatments and frame shades are crucial to the collection”, carrying its signature use of vivid colours across the line. As a result, we’re treated to transparent pink, yellow and green lenses, as well as boldly-coloured acetate frames, in opaque and translucent options.
Other highlights include the round lens ‘Sigmund’ and simple ‘Frame’ design, both coming in a mix of bright and softer shades.
The Acne Studios eyewear collection is available now in Acne stores worldwide and the brand’s webstore, with prices starting at £240.
