British Label Updates Classics For AW15
We may still be in the midst of this winter, but British outerwear label Baracuta has given us a sneak peek at its collection for autumn/winter 2015.
British spirit leads the story for the season, with a selection of the brand’s iconic silhouettes updated in new colour ways and prints, in addition to a slight tweaking when it comes to technical features.
The label’s G9 Harrington jacket has been re-mastered in a water-repellent cloth, coming in fresh shades of gold, sage, London fog and utility blue, each dyed through a special staining process to give an iridescent finish.
We also see the G9 re-imagined in corduroy and waxed cotton, with a warm Fair Isle lining joining the ranks of its signature Fraser tartan inner.
Other key styles such as the G4 and Field jackets have been adapted to incorporate a detachable gilet and removable hood, while the Travel Jacket – an update of the G10 trench – sees its pockets resized to comfortably house an iPhone, passport and wallet.
