Footballing legend and fashion icon David Beckham has launched his second collection for British label Belstaff.
Focusing on trans-seasonal styles, the latest capsule range is said to explore Beckham’s “passion for vintage classics”, offering contemporary reworks of timeless menswear pieces.
Aviation styles lead the line, with key outerwear silhouettes such as the ‘Ryde’ and ‘Moore’ drawing inspiration from the definitive flying jackets of the 1940s and beyond.
Joining the retro line-up is the ‘Marshfield’ blouson design, complete with rear pockets and a hand-finished treatment to add to the vintage feel, the ‘Stockfield’ denim trucker jacket with contrasting leather sleeves, and the return of last year’s favourite, the ‘Stannard’: a classic racer jacket with quilted diamond patches to the shoulders and elbows.
The outerwear pieces are complemented by a selection of clean-cut jeans, simple T-shirts, chambray shirts, yellow riding gloves and a biker-feel bandana.
