Been Trill has entered the luxury league, teaming up with six high-end designers as part of a collaborative project with Harvey Nichols.
Hardy Amies, Mr Hare, Gareth Pugh, Kim Jones, Linda Farrow and Shaun Samson worked with the streetwear label to create fifteen ready-to-wear looks, comprised of printed T-shirts, shorts, hoodies and trousers, along with limited edition eyewear and footwear.
Been Trill – the brainchild of an art and DJ collective that counts Lady Gaga’s former creative director and a previous Nike ‘cool hunter’ amongst its ranks – is known for its audacious branding and bold designs, which have seemingly been put to rest for this latest offering.
Instead, a slick, pared-back aesthetic takes its place, with a subtly embossed evening suit from Hardy Amies, a marble print short and T-shirt combination from Shaun Samson, and splash effect trainers from Mr Hare leading the pack.
