First Outpost For Retailer In The South Of The UK
London’s Carnaby district is set to welcome another independent retailer to the area, as Manchester-based Oi Polloi reveals plans to open a new store in the capital. Spanning 1,170 square feet across two floors, the store will offer a carefully curated selection of brands, with a smaller selection than it’s Manchester counterpart but bolstered by exclusives and collaborative products. The retailer, which was named one of our top ten UK independent menswear stores last year, has also added new names to its line-up for the launch, including Sassafras, Fjallraven, Orslow and Engineered Garments. The London store will sit alongside the Manchester location, which will remain open, and their vast online offering. Speaking about the opening, Oi Polloi co-founder Steven Sanderson said: “We are celebrating 12 years in the industry with the opening of our first store outside Manchester. “Carnaby is the perfect location for our shop with its mix of diverse, independent brands alongside larger flagship global brands in its 13 streets.” Look out for the Oi Polloi Carnaby store when it opens this March at 1 Marshall Street, London.
