Massachusetts-based label Penfield has unveiled its autumn/winter 2015 collection, using the occasion to mark its 40th anniversary in the outerwear industry.

Founded in 1975, the label has looked to “40 years of utility, strength and durability” for inspiration this season, turning out a range of classic and new styles for the colder months.

Heritage designs form the core of the range, with staple jackets coming in seasonally-appropriate colourways – including khaki, tan and navy blue – updated with contemporary technical details and features for the modern man.

Joining these signature styles is a selection of fresh streamlined silhouettes, available in a variety of brighter hues and prints for those that like to make a statement.

Alongside outerwear, Penfield is marking its milestone with a capsule clothing collection “designed to visually tell the story of the brand’s rich and long-standing heritage”.

The exclusive line hosts a limited range of pieces, including shirting, knitwear and trousers, each individually numbered to mark its rarity.
