Classic sporting label Umbro is taking us back to the nineties this summer, launching its nostalgia-inspired Pro Training collection with the help of digital and print publication The Rig Out.
The new line embraces all of the classic features of its 1990s predecessors, utilising the same logos, fabrics, colourways and print techniques from the decade, with the only tweaks being the addition of modern technical materials for improved performance.
Famously worn by the 1990 England squad, fashion and art magazine The Rig Out has now captured the collection in a retro-inspired photoshoot on the streets of LA.
In a nod to the US-hosted 1994 World Cup, the publication’s ‘L.A.ds’ editorial follows two local lads around the backstreets of Venice Beach, snapping the throwback pieces in action in an equally nostalgic setting.
With 28 styles taken straight from the golden age of football on offer – including football jerseys and retro sweats – nineties fashion fans are sure to welcome the return of these iconic pieces for the new season.
The Umbro Pro Training collection is available now at Size?, with prices ranging from £25 for vest tops to £60 for the Windshell and bomber jackets.
