Wood Wood x Champion ‘Select’
Danish design meets American athleticism in a new collaboration between Wood Wood and Champion. The limited edition ‘Select’ line sees sporting classics, from the polo shirt to jogging bottoms, re-imagined with a minimalist approach, resulting in a simple all-black collection. Covering both men’s and womenswear, the seven-piece line serves up a selection of laid-back, effortlessly cool garments, with styles kept loose and relaxed, leaving the contrasting monochrome branding to take centre stage. While a selection of the graphics are co-branded, Champion’s signature embroidered emblem remains in its rightful place on the sleeves of selected pieces. Wood Wood’s partnership with the sportswear brand is just one of three current brand collaborations, with New York-based designer Timo Weiland and London talent Craig Green also challenged to bring to life “a modern interpretation of the Champion brand”, according to a statement. The Wood Wood x Champion Select collection is available now exclusively at woodwood.dk, and in selected stockists.
