Everybody has their own idea of what qualifies as rare when it comes to sneakers. But it’s fair to say not even Yeezys can hold a candle to the Adidas Sevilla.

When Three Stripes decided to update the scarcely available 1970s shape under its Spezial banner, even it didn’t manage to get a hold of a pair until a week after the final sample had been made.

Despite working off vintage catalogue images, the result is no less for it. Now known as the Albrecht, the trainer adopts the stylish suede upper upper of the sought-after Sevilla, paired with the tooling from the Gazelle OG for a modern touch.

The chocolate brown and tan colourways are both finished with stitched accents and a metal trefoil tag, plus a brown gum rubber outsole, making them perfect for autumn (when it’s not raining).

Get yours before they’re gone for good. Again.

The Adidas Originals Archive Albrecht is available online and in Size? stores, priced £80. adidastrainernews-1 adidastrainernews-2 adidastrainernews-4 adidastrainernews-5 adidastrainernews-3
