Eytys x Simon Mullan Mother Sneaker

Fashion is a fickle business, but the bomber jacket has remained very much on the style radar for some seasons now. In fact, the transitional piece is so celebrated up top as a wardrobe staple that it has often made us wonder what good it could do for our footwear game. Aiming (and firing) to find out, Swedish label Eytys has partnered with Berlin-based artist Simon Mullan to create new versions of its Mother sneaker, stitched together using fragments of old MA1 flight jackets. Available at Eytys, priced around £150. 13-09-2016_eytysxsimonmullan_mothersneaker_armygreen_etsm-ms-ag_hh_1

Bape Shark Slip-Ons

If you ask most people whether they’d want sharks at the end of their legs, the answer would probably be a firm no. But it’s a different story now that Japanese clothing brand Bape is putting them on sneakers. The latest slip-on design applies Bape’s toothy motif to a number of canvas colourways, finished with a white sole and signature WGM (‘World Gone Mad’) phrase on the heel. Available at Bape, priced around £105.
