New Balance M585DR x Danner
You may not be much of a mountaineer, but that shouldn’t stop your footwear game reaching new heights. Teaming up to celebrate a shared love of American craftsmanship, Boston sneaker brand New Balance and Portland-based hiking specialist Danner have built a ready-for-anything version of the 585 from Horween leather and durable nylon.
Available from 12 November at Hanon, priced £299.
Visvim may take most of its cues from Native American style, but the Japanese label’s perennial Foley-Folk silhouette is straight off the operating table. Back for another outing, the updated low-top sneaker is cut from the finest cowhide leather, with a surgically upgraded vulcanised sole unit and cork footbed.
Available at End, priced £575.

Asics X Mita Gt-Cool Xpress Lotus Pond
Tokyo-based sneaker boutique Mita is taking another dip in Asics’ back-catalogue, this time updating the recently resurrected GT-Cool Xpress. Inspired by the Japanese lotus pond, the kicks feature a water resistant brown leather and suede construction inspired by the pond’s muddy bed, accompanied by contrasting pink flower-inspired accents.
Available from 12 November at End, priced £119.
