Sport has muscled its way into much of what we wear today. Not that we’re complaining, mind. Aside from polo shirts and Stan Smiths, the movement keeps giving us things like New Balance’s debut lifestyle collection.
The range of clothing is the perfect gym-to-street mix, with shorts, T-shirts and joggers, flanked by a technical jacket and long-sleeved shirt. Designed with performance in mind, each piece is made from either a soft cotton-nylon mix or quick-drying performance material for sweat absorption.
Alongside the clothing is also a range of backpacks decked out with the New Balance logo.
The collection has already launched in Japan and though there’s no word on a UK release just yet, New Balance turns out 28,000 pairs of trainers a week from its base in Cumbria so we can’t imagine we’re far behind.
