Luxury trainers have firmly claimed a key stake in modern menswear. It makes sense, then, that Puma has tapped up Dutch contemporary footwear brand Filling Pieces to create an amped-up version of its Blaze of Glory trainer. Best known for merging streetwear and high-end fashion, Filling Pieces has rebuilt the iconic model using all-black premium nubuck and leather. In addition to redesigning the shape with a woven toebox and elastic strap across the vamp, the brand has also added an oversized tongue, perforated panelling and rose gold lace tips. The Puma x Filling Pieces Blaze of Glory will be available from 30 July at End, Hanon and Harvey Nichols, priced £140.
