In the 50 years since iconic skate staple Vans was founded in California, it has turned out some of the most sought-after collaborations on the market. However, few have matched the popularity of its ongoing tie-up with Japanese label WTAPS.
In celebration of Vans turning half a century, and to mark 20 years of WTAPS, the pair are at it again offering up one the most luxey-looking Vans of recent seasons in the form of a leather snakeskin-effect edition of the Era sneaker.
But if your anaconda don’t want none of that, there’s also the return of the crossbones motif used on some of the pair’s previous releases across other classic Vans styles, along with a military jacket in the same design with ‘Vans #1 Waffle Lovers Club’ stitched on the back.
The Vans x WTAPS collection will be available at Vans from 27 August, prices TBC.
