Bell & Ross BR126 Aeronavale
Run-of-the-mill military-inspired timepieces often follow the same black and white colour scheme. Continuing to symbolise armed service excellence with a point of difference, Bell & Ross has created the Vintage BR 126 Aeronavale. Based on the blue and gold naval uniform, the French watchmaker has flanked a 43mm polished steel case with a deep blue dial, gilt appliqué numerals and a luxury blue calfskin leather strap with ecru stitching. Manifesto Male Hairdressing & Grooming, London
New men’s grooming outpost Manifesto is more than just a place to get a quick tidy up. The new speakeasy-inspired barbershop, which has just opened its doors on London’s Leather Lane, is a cut above thanks to a metropolitan mix of low-lit interior, in-house gallery and regular fashion installations. Along with all the necessary services for the modern man, Manifesto offers tailored treatments such as ‘The Dandy’ package, which includes a glass of whisky to go with a cut, beard trim, shave and head massage. BMW i3 Range Extender
Range anxiety has plagued the electric car like a stubborn wrinkle. In one of its first major updates, BMW has sought to address the issue by giving its agile i3 model an all new engine. As well as increasing drive distance to 276 miles, the updated i3 also gains a Protonic Blue metallic paint job and a number of custom interior and trim options including stylish dark oak trims. Ruark R4i Mk3
Speakers sit on the front line of the technology war, so it makes sense to invest in an audio arsenal that mixes style and sound as well as the Ruark R4i. First introduced in 2008 and just brought back to celebrate the British company’s 30th anniversary, the versatile R4i is designed and engineered for 21st-century living. Kayan 3D Printed Lamp Shade
A few decades ago 3D printing would have sounded like something cooked up by science fiction writers. Today it’s being used to produce everything from prosthetic limbs to trainers and, as is the case here, stylish homeware. Building on the pair’s previous collaboration, London-based lighting company Plumen and Italian 3D printing firm Formaliz3d, have created the Kayan lamp shade. Available in six colourways, with three choices of cable, the curved shape features punctured sides to spread light around the room. Available at Plumen, priced £129.95.
Byredo Cuir Obscur
Byredo’s pared-back bottles are as crisp and clean as its scents. Founded by Ben Gorham, who started life as a basketball star before transitioning into the perfume game, the Swedish brand’s latest addition is no exception. The sweet yet masculine Cuir Obscur features opening notes of amaretto and nutmeg, with mid-tones of ylang-ylang and rose, on top of rich dark black leather, patchouli and musk. Herschel Supply BHW Collection
It’s not just trainers that are being rendered in technical knit material anymore. Global accessories brand Herschel Supply recently unveiled a collection made from its first trademarked material, known as ApexKnit. The woven fabric, composed of 600D high-tensile yarn, debuted across three models in gradient colorways, all finished with premium zips, rubber accents and minimal branding.
